Our Story
Curry Up Now was founded in 2009 by husband and wife Akash and Rana Kapoor as a single food truck on the corner of Howard and Primrose in Burlingame, California. Tikka masala in a burrito. Samosas deconstructed on a plate. Naan turned into pizza.
Today we have locations across California, Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, and Alabama. Coming soon to Smyrna, TN and Seattle, WA.
Our La Jolla location is at UC San Diego, bringing Curry Up Now into one of Southern California’s most active campus communities. Surrounded by students, faculty, and steady daily foot traffic, it’s a natural fit for quick meals in a fast-moving environment.
